• It's even more pressuring with the concern of time... time isn't kind to aging... and the media and film world isn't kind to aging either. **The road ahead of him looks unsure.**.. so shaky... loose. Unstable and ungaraunteed. Like the classic tv trope rickety long bridge.. with some missing planks and missing strings for support. It could've been such a shock to shock him out of acting entirely... his passion. Either way.... we're here to support his decision.... **we simply want to see him again... and not just see him, but see him well.** He was asked once what his inspiration was? His fans, he answered. That he'll never be able to express his gratitude for all the ideas, and support and love they give him. He made a song: "Reason." That should be proof enough of it all. I really could go on and on and on--but I'm sure this is more than long enough of a sob-story xd (in fact, you'd think I've written his whole biography... But anyway. Point is. This voting's looking pretty bleak... that's the honest, hard truth. But so is his situation. I guess I would just feel reeeeaally unsatisifed if I just didn't get it all out there.... about why I'm a fan. A new one...probably a naive one... but one that'll be there forever. As with most of the fans: the seonhohada. So even if our voting won't be able to express our genuine love for him... I hope this message (lol, I meant \*Essay) will. My reasons for being a seonhohada.

• He was young when he witnessed the stabbing of his mother... her** bleeding while struggling to get away from the intruder. **This vivid memory was stamped into his head... so much so that he had trouble breathing in crowded spaces... he was scared, and sweated and shook next to people wearing white t-shirts. So traumatic that he couldn't even recite a book properly in class. Of course he was shy... closed off.. introverted and shut down. Soon enough though, he was able to overcome this, because he found his passion: **acting**.

This is the type of person who's willing to give his whole heart to, cherish a person, and desires someone to laugh with, someone to take care of... someone who could also take care of him. ...Someone who would stick with him for the rest of life. But instead, he got a call.. where his first love said, 'We can't do this anymore.' No reason. Just... that they couldn't go on. After military, he went right or her flat... despite his image, despite all he had going for him, he kneeled down and begged in front of her. Down 5 floors. Begging, crying, for 3 hours. Despite his position. And just like that... **his heart was broken.**

• Flash forward... he started his on-screen career. And not for fame or popularity.... but because of the insistence of his parents. His theatre career was already well-off... he had everything he needed, his shows sold out quickly.... he was content. But because he respected his parents so.. he continued and went on-screen. He started the variety show, 2 Days 1 Night, as our shy variety rookie... still shy and a bit closed off due to his past and everything. But joining this show was probably the best thing that could ever happen to him. Not only did he start to boost in popularity and start to trend because of this show... but he also bonded with a close family. He bonded with people who'd become more like brothers to him... he found himself crying, laughing and smiling... **showing his real, goofy, charming, humble, kind self.**

• Little acts of kindness here and there... helping and hugging everyone like a child. As time went on... he would grow bolder, smarter, and braver to the point where he'd no longer be a variety rookie... but so good enough that he'd even been noted for his incredible "hosting" abilities at interviews for his dramas.... so calm, collected. And all because of this show. But it was not only himself that he benefited, and he didn't only bring a smile to his face ... but to the lives of many others. Not just regular viewers too... but viewers who were depressed, viewers in hospitals scared witless about their futures, people who were in the gutters. **His infectious, precious, humble and dimpled smile that automatically made everyone else happy... bright and cheerful... whether they wanted to or not, whether he realized it or not.** But before I continue **... you should know more about his character.**

• One time, a fan asked for a high-touch, and she said, "I'm so sorry... my hands are cold.." to which he responded, **"It's okay. My hands are warm :) ."** This is that man. Someone who will give their all to a person. A man who always bows when greeting the staff... speaks with so much kindess and respect. To the point where certain brands and his own agency are coming to his defense. One time on an interview, he was asked what the last thing he did before going to bed was. What was it? ... Thanking all the 2D1N members for their hard work. He had so much success with Start-Up... something he couldn't believe would ever happen... that he just had to share his joy by donating. And we've all heard of his donations.. to the Leukemia fund, to the Happy Bean foundation... So there's this person. A genuinely caring, warm, gentle precious soul...... **a naive soul.**

• **... He tried for love one more time.** If there's anything he's not good at... it's finding a caring person. He loved her so that she asked for designer brands and he bought them all... they went on trips together to so many locations... and 6 or so months into the relationship... she reveals to him: that she's divorced. **Warning 1.** But then still.... he says it's okay... he moves on... he continues with her, even introducing her to his parents. ... He was coming back from filming one time to give her something... and sees her car is gone. She's been seeing people... acting suspicious. I believe her ex-husband even mentioned that she invited other men to her house... but who knows. **Warning 2. **He started to falter... he talked to his friends... they were almost about to end it when this girlfriend gives him a long apology, with something along the lines of "I'm doing it all for you," baked in there somewhere. His precious love-blinded heart decides to forgive her, loving her so, so much. Somewhere in the timeline, it was mentioned that he discovered video files she recorded.. of him. Without him knowing. Without his consent. ... and then we arrive at the heart of this scarring scandal: the pregnancy. **Warning 3.** I'll try not to say too much about it... and even what I do say will give way to arguments ... those details are up to individuals to look at. I will say one thing: he responded by acceptance. That the baby was a blessing. He was ready to drop his career--his filming career that was on the line because of this--and marry her so they can continue... but in the end. It was abortion. That's the other fact about the situation. It was mentioned that he came out of the hospital with her, both of their eyes puffed and swollen. It was too much. Concurrently... around this time, 2D1N did a psychology episode... where someone would read what was on all their minds after they paint a picture. Wanna know was the psychologist said? Unsurprisingly... he was the one who had the heaviest burden. heaviest thing weighing on his heart and mind. ... He started crying, unexpectedly. ... something he rarely does... given that he doesn't show emotion much when in public, usually not laughing or crying when with others. But all the members--his brothers--hugged him and supported him then. He received love and attention still. And then finally... gangsters and gangs and other issues were after him. Because of her. ... finally, FINALLY, a little too late, he decides to end it. Because this was getting to be too much. Later that year, middle of June, after the breakup, she texts that she hates him. **His shabbily patched up heart is broken again.**

• The episodes of 2D1N filmed concurrently around that time are proof of the situation... when he cries so unexpectedly... so softhearted. Noted by the members too... I'm sure that that show was a small, beacon of happiness in that era where his life was swallowed in darkness. And yet he kept on smiling. That precious, humble dimpled smile of it. He kept bringing light to the lives of other people. In that same interview where he was asked the question about what he did before going to bed, he was also asked this: 'Describe what you're feeling in three words.' And of course.. his three words were: **"I am happy."** He kept making others laugh and smile, with that infectious smile. Even when everything was not alright.
