WooSan is the fan-shipped friendship pairing between ATEEZ's Choi San and Jung Wooyoung, two members who have known each other since their trainee days at KQ Entertainment and are often called the group's most prominent 'soulmate' duo. They are both 99-liners (born in 1999), a shared birth year that often means close friendship in Korean idol culture. WooSan's friendship is extensively documented across ATEEZ's content and beyond. They have openly referred to themselves using their ship name in behind-the-scenes videos, call each other 'soulmates,' and have each gotten matching Amicus Ad Aras tattoos on their right thighs, a Latin phrase associated with steadfast friendship. Their families are also unusually close: both San and Wooyoung call each other's parents 'Mom' and 'Dad' because their parents are genuinely good friends.
