Kim Ryeowook is a member of the boy group Super Junior from SM Entertainment. He is one of the main vocalists of the group. Ryeowook was the last member to join the debut lineup of Super Junior (before Kyuhyun was added). He only had two months of training and he was added to Super Junior only several weeks before their debut. Ryeowook made his debut as a Super Junior member on November 6, 2005. Super Junior was supposed to be a project group but because of the success of the group, SM Entertainment decided to make it a permanent group in 2006. Their debut name changed from Super Junior 05 to Super Junior. Super Junior had consecutive successful releases, From albums “U,” “Sorry Sorry,” Don’t Don,” and more. In 2006, Super Junior had their first-ever subunit called Super Junior KRY. Ryeowook is one of the members of the subunit. They are the ballad unit of the group. In 2007, Ryeowook also made his acting debut through the Super Junior film “Attack on the Pin-Up Boys.” In 2008, Ryeowook yet again joined another subunit of Super Junior. He is part of the seven member group Super Junior-M. The group is usually promoted in the Chinese music industry. In 2009, Super Junior did not only dominate the local scene but also got international recognition. After “Sorry Sorry” was released, it easily became an anthem in Korea and globally. Because of this song and the success of the group in different parts of the world, they are labeled as the King of the Hallyu Wave. On January 28, 2016, Ryeowook officially made his solo debut. He released his album The Little Prince. In 2019, he released his second album titled Drunk On Love. Since its debut until now, Super Junior has released more than 600 tracks. Some of the popular ones are “Sorry Sorry,” “Mr.Simple,” “U,” “Bonamana,” and many more. In February 2022, Super Junior released their special single album titled The Road: Winter for Spring with the title track “Callin.” In May 3, Ryeowook will release his third album titled A Wild Rose. Ryeowook is under the management of SM Entertainment.
