Nichkhun Buck Horvejkul, known mononymously as Nichkhun, is a Thai-American singer, songwriter, rapper, and actor who rose to fame as a member of the South Korean boy band 2PM under JYP Entertainment. Born on June 24, 1988, in Rancho Cucamonga, California, and raised in Thailand, Nichkhun became one of the first Thai idols to achieve massive success in the K-pop industry when he debuted with 2PM in 2008. His multicultural background and ability to speak multiple languages (Thai, English, Korean, Japanese, and Mandarin) made him a valuable asset in 2PM's international expansion. As the visual and sub-vocalist of 2PM, Nichkhun contributed to the group's signature "beast idol" concept, helping establish them as one of the leading second-generation K-pop groups. Beyond his work with 2PM, he has pursued successful solo activities in both music and acting, releasing solo singles and appearing in numerous Thai and Chinese dramas and films.
