Super Junior leads K-pop's Greatest 2nd Gen Group of All Time poll entering the final week of voting. Super Junior holds 47 votes, far ahead of 2NE1 with 17 votes. The gap between them is 30 votes. Voting closes on October 25 at 12:03 KST with 167 hours remaining.
The 30-vote margin is commanding. The poll has recorded 77 total votes cast so far. Super Junior holds 61 percent of all votes in this poll. This lead is substantial with more than a week of voting time remaining. The mathematics favor Super Junior to hold first place through voting's end.
Competition for second place is much tighter. 2NE1 holds 17 votes while Big Bang has 10 votes. The gap between second and third place is only 7 votes. With 167 hours remaining, the vote gap between these two is small enough that shifts are possible. The battle for second place will continue until voting closes.
The remaining groups on the ballot have significantly less support. Girls Generation, Wonder Girls, and T-ara each hold 1 vote. SHINee, TVXQ, 2PM, and SISTAR have no votes at this stage. The voting patterns show clear preference for Super Junior with secondary interest in 2NE1 and Big Bang.
